Hello from Hawaii

My brother-in-law took this photo while we were snorkeling today. We did snorkeling at a beach 5 minutes away from the house we are renting. It was so beautiful.

I met some sea turtles there, too.

I'm stress-free here.....yey. Nature heals you.

What goes around never come around

Do you believe "What goes around comes around"? I don't. Particularly these days.

I think those jerks and bitches will live happily ever after and die laughing. Unfortunately I think that's the reality of life.

Looking at the bright side, I'll leave for vacation in Hawaii in two days. I and my husband will stay in a vacation house in Big Island with my family traveling from Japan. Yey.

Agh, I'm still not that excited.....because of this work place stress....

Oh, girls night yesterday was fun. It's so nice to bitch about things with girls. One of them mentioned how well big boobs work to get promoted in Japan...An example: our new defense minister. Maybe I need to consider boob job seriously...

Shoes Matter

First, an answer to Bala Wala Shi’s question. I usually buy shoes online from Zappos.com and Shoes.com. They have an extensive variety of shoes (more on Zappos) and you can search by heel height, color, size, etc. You will not really get a real bargain, but the best thing about these sites is they are free shipping BOTH WAYS. So you can order shoes and try them on, and if you don’t like them, you can just return with no cost. I have recently noticed SmartBargains.com has a good deal though its variety and stock is limited. I sometimes find a “find” at Overstock.com. I’m not impressed by Bluefly.com so far. Too expensive. To just feast my eyes, I go to Neimanmarcus.com….just to look at beautiful shoes which I can’t afford. If you want to find bargain manolos, you should go to your nearest Neiman Marcus store. They sometimes have last chance clearance sale, and you can buy a pair of manolo for a little more than $100 (hey, it’s manolo!).

In a meantime, those flip-flops continue to bother me. I mean, why do you choose to wear flip-flops when there are hundreds of beautiful shoes out there??? I don’t get it. And I told this to VUBOQ last night, and he said I should blog about this…..I often see women changing their flip-flops to pumps or sandals in a metro or a park on the way to their office. And they put their flip-flops into their purses or handbags! EEEEWWWW! No, they don’t put those flip-flops into a plastic bag or wrap them with something before putting them into their handbags full of her other belongings. And they do vice-versa on the way home. I just can’t believe it. Do they know sidewalks are not really clean??

Besides, you never know who’s checking you out on the street, girls! You may be missing opportunities to be picked up by shoes-or-legs-fetish- millionaire-bachelors (oh, well, maybe not in DC, but, anyways)! Believe me, you look more fabulous in a beautiful pair of shoes.

Oh, wait a minute, look who I’ve got married to…..never mind.

This is an advertisement

Ladies, I love this Very Sexy Scalloped laser-cut hiphugger. I hate panty line (or VPL, according to Wikipedia). If you hate it too but don't feel comfortable wearing thong (actually thong, too, creates panty line), this is for you. This one (not in Leoard, though. I recommend warm nude) creates absolutely no panty line even when you wear tight white pants.

[At a bar sometime ago]
My Favorite Drunk Mike: Tomoko, are you wearing underwear today?
Me: Yes.

(after a while)

MFDM: Tomoko, you don't wear underwear today.
Me: Yes, I do!

See? I own three and want more.

The other day, I saw a man with panty line. Eeewwww.

Report: 'Sex & The City' Movie Finally A Go!

NEW YORK, New York (July 5, 2007) – Ladies, dust off your lucky Manolos – Carrie and the girls are back and "Big"ger than ever!

The long-awaited, highly anticipated "Sex & The City" movie is finally a go, according to TVGuide.com.

Filming is slated to begin in mid-September with Sarah Jessica Parker, Cynthia Nixon, Kristin Davis and Kim Cattrall all on board to reprise their signature roles, TVGuide.com reports.

According to the report, New Line Cinema is on the verge of closing a deal to distribute the film in association with HBO, with an official announcement expected as early as next week.

In May, Access Hollywood spoke with "Sex" star Sarah Jessica Parker about the buzz surrounding the much-talked about big screen project.

Hmmmm........

I found this explanation in Q&A section of Cobalt's website.

Can you explain the "No High Heels Policy?"

Sure. We do not allow spiked high heels simply for safety reasons. Period. Just stay on the safe side and wear flat shoes. Most gay men don't look at women's heels anyway so just leave that fashion at home.

Are they acceptable?

Women's Rights to Shoes Part 2 or How I Ruined My Friends' Night Out

Basically this is what happened.

I was very sad. I was sad because I ruined my friends' night out. VUBOQ and Y were so kind that they said I didn't, but I actually did. I was sad because I had felt fabulous in a new gold mini dress and matching gold sandals (which have only 1 inch heels). I was sad because I felt being rejected, well, actually I WAS rejected. I was sad because I really wanted to dance after being stressed out from some work-place-related issues.

Maybe I should have gone to CVS and bought flip-flops. But don't you think it's flip-flops that should be banned?? Well, maybe I should have surrendered to flip-flops because friends are more important. Especially when they accompanied me to have some drinks at Halo when they could have had good time dancing at Cobalt.

Maybe you think I think too much. But the thing is, I've never had this many good friends in my life. Now that I have them, I'm so afraid of losing them.

I hate flip-flops.

Dear Cobalt, will you accept these?

Which pair should I buy? Vote.

Vladimir Crush

OMG, I've just had a crush on Vladimir! Has he been working out?

Fun in Baltimore

On Saturday, I went to Baltimore with Steven, Yuval and Mike to visit our friend, Eric. Here you can see what happened during the trip (my ass doesn't look bad in them. Yey). I added some photos to Flickr, too.

The trip was really fun. We left Silver Spring around 4:30pm and arrived at Eric's new home around 5:30pm, I guess. His condo was very specious and nice. We had some margaritas there and Eric brought us to a nice Mexican restaurant in the northern Fells Point (or so Eric explained). We had more margaritas. I and Eric discovered we shared the first crush....David Hasselhoff the Knight Rider. And Eric gave me a real opening my eyes moment. I'd rather avoid the background of this conversation, but basically he argued the size of penis matters in the same context that the size of women's boobs does. Big P or big B has more sex appeal not necessarily for practical reasons but rather for psychological or symbolic reasons. You've got this?

Then we moved to a bar which I don't remember the name and had a drink, the ended up in another bar, Central Station. I don't remember how many drinks I had there.... I guess one. Two? Then we dropped by Eric's place and headed back home around midnight. Yuval played good dance music, and the car turned in to a mobile club. We danced. At some point, when someone said there were still thousands of miles to home, suddenly I and Mike crushed. We woke up around Silver Spring station. Many thanks to the kind driver.

I didn't do much on Sunday. Slept until 10:30, watched "Mujel al Borde de un Ataque de Nervios" on DVD, had lunch. Unsuccessful shoe shopping followed.

I bought a hot pink shorts. I'm still wondering if I'm too old to wear this.....
